RECURRING DONATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Recurring Donation is contracted with SupporterHub (and either underlying banking partner with Fat Zebra Pty Ltd ACN 154 014 785, APCA User ID Number 50257 or Payrix Australia Pty Ltd ABN 63 135 196 397, AFSL No. 418105) and will collect the Instalments due. Outlined are your obligations when undertaking a Recurring Donation arrangement and what our obligations are to you as your Recurring Donation provider.
Debiting your account
- By accepting the terms and conditions, you have authorised us to arrange for funds to be debited from your account.
- We will only arrange for funds to be debited from your account as authorised in the Recurring Donation Request.
- If the debit day falls on a day that is not a banking day, we may direct your financial institution to debit your account on the following banking day. If you are unsure about which day your account has or will be debited you should ask your financial institution.
Amendments by us
We may vary any details of this agreement or a Recurring Donation Request at any time by giving you at least fourteen (14) days written notice.
Your obligations
- It is your responsibility to ensure that there are sufficient clear funds available in your account to allow a Recurring Donation payment to be made in accordance with the Recurring Donation Request.
- If there are insufficient clear funds in your account to meet a debit payment:
- you may be charged a fee and/or interest by your financial institution;
- you may also incur fees or charges imposed or incurred by us; and
- you must arrange for the debit payment to be made by another method or arrange for sufficient clear funds to be in your account by an agreed time so that we can process the debit payment.
- You should check your account statement to verify that the amounts debited from your account are correct
Dispute
- If you believe that there has been an error in debiting your account, you should notify us directly or as soon as possible so that we can resolve your query quickly. Alternatively you can take it up directly with your financial institution.
- If we conclude as a result of our investigations that your account has been incorrectly debited we will respond to your query by arranging for your financial institution to adjust your account (including interest and charges) accordingly. We will also notify you in writing of the amount by which your account has been adjusted.
- If we conclude as a result of our investigations that your account has not been incorrectly debited we will respond to your query by providing you with reasons and any evidence for this finding in writing.

You should check:
- Your account details which you have provided to us are correct by checking them against a recent account statement; and
- With your financial institution before completing the Recurring Donation Request if you have any queries about how to complete the Recurring Donation Request.
Confidentiality
- We will keep all information (including your account details) in your Recurring Donation confidential. We will make reasonable efforts to keep any such information that we have about you secure and to ensure that any of our employees or agents who have access to information about you do not make any unauthorised use, modification, reproduction or disclosure of that information.
- We will only disclose information that we have about you:
- to the extent specifically required by law; or
- for the purposes of this agreement, including disclosing information in connection with any query or claim.

The parishes, schools, ministries and agencies of the Archdiocese of Brisbane (referred to in this document as we, us or our) operate in South East Queensland as part of the Catholic Church. The privacy of all individuals with whom we interact is very important to us and we are committed to protecting all personal information we collect and hold. We do this by handling information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act).

Collection of your personal information
We usually collect personal information (including sensitive information) from you through your interaction with our education, welfare and religious functions and activities, mainly through your completion of application and registration forms. This collection maybe in person, over the internet, via email or through a telephone conversation with you.
Disclosure
Generally we only collect and disclose personal information about you (or sensitive information with your consent) for purposes reasonably required for the performance of our education, welfare and religious functions and activities. Generally, we only disclose personal information to overseas parishes for the purpose of recording sacraments in accordance with Church law.
Access and correction
If you ask, in most cases we must give you access to the personal information we hold about you and take reasonable steps to correct it if we consider it is incorrect. We will try to make the process as simple as possible.

Refund Policy
Donations Refund Policy
Romero Centre places great value in being a sound steward of donations in all forms.
Should an error be made in the amount of any donation, the donor has 60 days in which to notify Romero Centre of the error. All requests for refunds are to be made in writing and directed by:

The request should have the details of the initial donation including the date, amount, name of the donor, the tax invoice/receipt number and the nature of the error.
The original tax invoice/receipt immediately becomes void and invalid, and a new tax invoice/receipt will be issued for the amount of the revised donation.
Romero Centre will process such a refund within 30 days of the receipt of such request. Romero Centre reserves the right to deduct any bank or transaction charges for any refund processed onto the donor.
Should an error be made by Romero Centre or its financial institution(s), full refunds will be made immediately upon notification in writing of the error and reasonable costs borne by Romero Centre.
Refunds will be returned using the original method of payment.
Romero Centre may use donor information for direct marketing purposes. At the time a donation is submitted online, you will have the option of receiving further communications or opting out.
